Cirque du Soleil will be holding auditions on June 25, 2016 in Los Angeles, California, for the following disciplines:
- Physical actors
- Contemporary mimes
- Street performers
All body types are welcomed. Additional skills are an asset.
Interested and qualified candidates must apply online by June 19, 2016. All candidates must be at least 18 years old at the time of the auditions.
A few other things to note:
- Cirque du Soleil will not pay for any expenses incurred by candidates to attend auditions.
- These are general auditions for all roles in current shows and upcoming creations. Cirque du Soleil will not offer contracts at the auditions.
- The material submitted by candidates will not be returned and may be destroyed by the casting team.

The San Francisco Neo-Futurists are looking for talented and versatile theatre artists for their ongoing run of Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind. Ensemble members of the company write, direct, and perform in this weekly unique and provocative 60-minute, 30-play revue.
Audition slots are by appointment only and will be held Sunday, May 15 from 12:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. and Monday, May 16 from 6:45 p.m.-8:30 p.m. at Mojo Theatre (2940 16th Street #217, San Francisco, CA). Callbacks will take the form of a two-day workshop on Sunday, May 22 from 12:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. and Monday, May 23 from 6:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Attendance will be requested for the entire time.
Auditionees are encouraged to attend a current production of Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind at SAFEhouse for the Arts (1 Grove Street, San Francisco, CA) on Fridays and Saturdays at 9:00 p.m.

Handsome Little Devils is currently accepting submissions to cast a separate production of their hit show Squirm Burpee: A Vaudevillian Melodrama. This production would run Summer 2016 at the Trocadero Theatre in Elitch Gardens Theme and Water Park in Denver, Colorado, in collaboration with the Manhattan Creative Group.
Submissions are being accepted for the roles of Baron Vegan von Hamburger (the villain), The Lovely Little Lolo (the love interest), and Mike the Handsome (the hero). Jugglers, dancers, clowns, and physical comedians are encouraged to apply. This is a non-equity contract, with performances seven days a week. Roles will be double-cast.
